We were in Iyaly for a mini vacation, of course in connection with a dogshow. We reached our goals and Spike got the CACIB, he also was BOB and Group-2 . You can see the group finals HERE Also meeting a lot of new friends, good food and a beautiful country made this a memorable trip.

101114 ......... several thing have happened since last time I updated these pages. First a sad news, Maddox was put to sleed at age 13. Even though he was used very limited in stud his descendants is spread all over the world and are winning and with champion titles and top winners everywere.
One of Maddox wins was at "Golden Go" and 9 years later his great grandchild Spike won BIS in tough competition judged by Stephen Wheeler.
Dunder is soon leaving for Australia but he had time for one last show were he took CC, BOB and BIS-3!!!!
Spike and Carries daughter Smiley has done well on her first shows!
Finally Charles Dickens have some new members. Already in the house is a handsome red/white boy, Melankolian Moccasin by USCh My-Ida.Ho Stop N Look and USCh Normandy N Rubic's Play Act. "Mocca" is a tall, well constructed boy with a very pleasing temprament. Eyes and hips clear.
Not yet in the house is USCh Bow-K's Silverhall Smudgepot by USCh Detor's N Bow-K's Play By Play and Gindou's N Bow-K's Queen Of The Ball. Now we have to wait until all tests are clear and hopefully she will also be in whelp when she comes . "Smudge" is eyes and hips clear.
100920 .....Our "Nationals" this weekend and another great day for Charles Dickens parties. Among the pups C D Happy Birthday was Best of Variety with C D Fairground Carousel as BOS, also C D Roller Coaster won her class, big congratulations to their owners
"Elvis" finished the day with BOS to BIS before he went on his long journey home to Greece.
Among the adults it was time for C D Guavas Thunder to show his stuff, he defeated Spike and was Best Of Variety only 1 year old. Proud owner is Michelle Fraser, Australia. BOS was C D Carrie Me Through and second best bitch was C D Tempting Eyes, both owned by Eva Norling.
C D Whisper Of Thunder LOVED to be in the showring again and was proud to stand before his prognety witch was awarded best group.

Since this ment that he now is qualfied for Crufts I checked out the English Kennel Clubs website and to my surprice and joy I found that my old Gibson was standing model for an illustration for american cocker spaniel! Fortunate that I have partis so that I can always recognise my dogs :-)

090921 ........... Two very busy weekends! This weekend it was the most prestigious show for the year, the "Swedish Nationals" with Jessica Brickett, USA, judging 100 Am Cockers.
First in the ring was CD C'Mon who did his last show for me before he left for his new home.
Next class it was Spikes turn.
And then it was time for Beppe. It was his last show for a while. As usual it was a pleasure to show him even though he was defeated in the championclass. A bit part of his coat came off after the show, and I think he looks pretty pleased on the photo down left.......
CD Carrie Me Through was best Parti bitch.
Sally won the championclass and was 2:d best bitch. Then Spike defeated "Dimma" in best parti.
My breeders group was BIS. In the final BIS-competition Spike gave everything and won the whole thing!
Last weekend it also was a specialityshow. Beppe got his 9:th speciality BIS, Spike won the CC and Sally was BOS- My breeders group was BIS.

C D Sweet Whisper, "Sallys",is back in the showring after over a years absence. She got her second CC and also defeated Beppe in BOB!!!
Sunday was equally fun. Today I showd C D New Born and he did as well as Collin the day before, winning the CC.
Sally got her 3:d CC and is now CHAMPION!

090511 ........ What a weekend! On saturday Hoodoo got his third CC and with that became Ukrainian Junior Champion. But he didn'tstop there, he also was BOB and Group-2!
At a Kennel Club show yesterday Beppe was BOB and group 2. At a speciality show held after this show he was defeated, but since the one defeating him was "Spike" , Charles Dickens New Born, I didn't mind :-) Spike finished the day with winning the BIS! On the picture below you can see him with Beppes daughter Giffels Hello Kitty who was BOS to BV.

This Easter we were invited to Champions Of Champions in Stockholm together with last years top winners all breeds. Beppe loved it on the stage and went all the way through to top 4 were he was defeated by the dog that was runner up to last years Dog of the Year in Sweden.
I also got the opportunity to see some of Beppes new babies at Speedwagons and Stars And Stripes Kennels. You can see pics of them HERE! There are also a new litter sired by him at kennel Abeleen in Finland.

090304......Again time to catch up with some updates, at last! The second half of 2008 was very hectic with both good and bad things. On the positive side was that Beppe,C D Whisper Of Thunder, was totally unthreatened in the top of Am Cockerof the year. Among his wins was his second BIS at the Swedish "Nationals", judged by Nancy Gallant. I have updated his pages with a link to his new photoalbum.
ThatBeppe would be top winning cocker of the year was hardly any surprice, but that Hejdu, C D L'Amour Rouge, would finish as second and Top Am Cocker Bitch of the year came as a surprice since I have been concetrating on Beppe. She also finished her championship in august.
Hejdus page is also updated with her own photoalbum. She has been cut down and will be bred this summer. Her sister Sally will hopefully follow in her steps in the showring later this year.
On the negative side was that due to a tragic accident AJ had to be put to sleep. I'm so grateful that he was able to sire two litters for me and you can see more about Spike and Penny on their own pages. You can see som ofhis other offspring under "Sold"
This winter has been very calm on the dogfront, no shows and no puppies. I was on a long trip during january, driving a Landrover between Paris - Dakar - Marrakesh. You can see pictures from the trip HERE och HERE.
